Article 1: Purpose
These general rental conditions (hereinafter the ‘General Conditions’) define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the rental of guest rooms (hereinafter the ‘Rooms’) offered on the https://chateau-des-portes.bzh website (hereinafter the ‘Site’).
Article 2: Scope of application
The General Conditions apply to all Room reservations made on the Site. The Customer must read and accept them before making a reservation.
Article 3: The Hirer
The Hirer is SARL Le Château des Portes, at the address: Château des Portes, 22400 Noyal, France. You can contact him via the dedicated page.
Article 4 : The Customer
The Customer is the natural person who books a Room on the Site.
Article 5: Description of the rooms
The Rooms are described in detail and accurately on the Site. The Customer must refer to these descriptions before making a reservation.
Article 6: Prices and payment terms
Room rates are indicated on the Site in euros (€). The total price of the stay is calculated on the basis of the number of nights, the number of people and the tourist tax.
Payment can be made by credit card via the Site’s secure online payment system or by bank transfer.
Article 7: Booking and Confirmation
Rooms are booked online on the Site. The Customer will then receive confirmation of the booking by e-mail.
Article 8: Cancellation
If the Customer cancels the booking, the following charges will apply:
- More than 30 days before the arrival date: no charge
- 30 to 15 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the total price of the stay
- Less than 15 days before the date of arrival: 100% of the total price of the stay
Article 9: Arrival and departure
Rooms are available from 4pm to 7pm and must be vacated by 11am.
Article 10: Liability
The Customer is responsible for any damage caused to the Rooms during his/her stay.
Article 11: Disputes
Any disputes relating to the application of the General Terms and Conditions shall be governed by French law and brought before the competent courts.
Article 12: Completeness
The Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior communications, representations or agreements, whether written or oral.
Article 13: Modification of the General Terms and Conditions
The Hirer reserves the right to modify the General Conditions at any time. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings made after the date of the change.
Online Payment System
The Site uses a secure online payment system that enables Customers to pay for their holiday by credit card via a service provider (Mollie). The Customer’s bank details are not known to this website; only the partner Mollie processes and protects them in accordance with current standards.
The Hirer does not keep any banking information relating to the Customer.
By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, the Customer acknowledges having read and understood the above information and undertakes to comply with them and with the internal rules.
